For the state of Wyoming, we offer two extremely useful and helpful LLC Operating Agreements, that are designed to both protect the member(s) of an entity from damaging liability and to put the different members of an entity into a contract that states their ownership percentages and their role(s) in a company. In addition to the above purposes, our LLC Operating Agreements allow for the creation of bylaws within an entity, document the different manager and employee positions within a company, record the daily routine of a company, and generally protect and organize and entity and it’s members from various financial and legal threats. One of our LLC Operating Agreements can only be completed after an entity has been created and filed with the Wyoming Secretary of State. Below we give you the step-by-step process for doing just that.

How to File your Entity in Wyoming:

Step 1 (Scan): Go to the Wyoming Secretary of State Business Search Page and scan for any companies that have already utilized the name you were planning on naming your own company. If your planned entity name is still available, continue to Step 2.

Step 2 (Download, Print, and Complete):

Download and print one of the two (2) applications below that fit your entity situation.

Domestic – Utilize this application if you are creating an entity original to the state of Wyoming.

Foreign – Utilize this application if you have already created an entity in another state, and are looking to open an entity in the state of Wyoming for the first time.

Step 3 (Pay the Fee):

Pay the filing fee for the completed application. It costs $100, and should be paid to the Wyoming Secretary of State.

Step 4 (Mail):

Mail the completed application and the attached $100 fee to the below address:
